Starting Bio Identical Hormone Replacement
The first step to starting treatment is having an initial consultation. At the consultation visit, your complete medical history and symptoms will be reviewed. We will collect bio-medical measurements and as well as a blood sample. While there is no charge for the consultation itself, there is a charge for the blood work should you choose to proceed. The charge for blood work is $150.00 and includes a very comprehensive panel including Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone, DHEA, Thyroid and others.
Approximately 1 week after your consultation, you will return to the office to discuss test results with the physician. Additionally your history, symptoms, and treatment plan will be reviewed . This is the perfect time to ask what type of administration best fits your lifestyle.
Bio Identical Hormone replacement plans are customized for each individual. Therefore, prices vary but range anywhere from $130-$200 per month. Your plan will include the hormones you need based on your blood work, history and symptoms.
For your convenience, monthly medications ship directly to your home or the location you specify each month. No need to order refills or go to a pharmacy to pick up medications.
After starting treatment you will be asked to:
- Keep a symptom diary
- Stay in contact with your care team
- Communicate symptom changes
